Richard N. Merz III is the owner and instructor for Merz Firearms LLC.  Richard is certified through the National Rifle Association (NRA) as a firearm instructor in the pistol discipline and as a Chief Range Safety Officer.

Merz Firearms LLC is an organization approved to certify firearms instructors by the Minnesota Department of Public Safety, Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA).

Concealed Carry Weapon Permits

Merz Firearms LLC is certified to instruct: Wisconsin Concealed Weapon Permit and the Minnesota Permit-to-Carry (PTC).  The multi-state class also satisfies the training requirements for permits in Arizona, Florida, Iowa, Maine, and New Hampshire.

Youth Firearm Training

Merz Firearms LLC is dedicated to youth education of safe firearm handling through various programs such as the NRA Winchester Marksmanship Program.
