Concealed Carry Weapon Permits
Merz Firearms is proud to be the best value for your money in terms of Concealed Carry Weapon (CCW) permit training. *Our onsite classes are a flat rate of $75.00. That price includes everything you need to apply for your CCW permit in Wisconsin as well as Minnesota, Florida, Arizona, Iowa, and others. Look closely at our competitors and notice that they will charge an additional fee to add on other states like Minnesota, Arizona, and Florida. For $75.00 you'll receive a course completion certificate (your proof of training), permit applications, fingerprint cards, onsite range time for live fire, and the occasional promotional goodies.
Our Location
Merz Firearms LLC is located at W4480 Sampson Rd, Rio, WI 53960. We are located just outside of Rio, WI about 1.5 miles south of Highway 16. We are about 30 minutes north of Sun Prairie/Madison East and half way between Portage and Columbus.
Our Classroom
Merz Firearms LLC operates a classroom with plenty of space for our smaller class sizes. The classroom offers lots of natural sunlight with a large projector screen for easy viewing. Educational information is situated around the room for the students' benefit. We have onsite restrooms, R.O. filtered water, soda, and hot coffee.
Our Pistol Range
Merz Firearms LLC has a two person illuminated 25' pistol range onsite. We feel strongly that every student should discharge a firearm as part of concealed carry training to instill good habbits, competency, and provide a time for one-on-one instruction. Our range is covered to keep out the wind and rain and has heaters for winter time.
* Note: this cost is for classes held in Rio at the home office. Classes held at other locations may include additional charges.
